TENSION: Future starts here! An unusual material mix: stainless steel and silicon. The silicon sheet is fixed to the outer edges between the frames. It is clamped in the middle between the two parts that are screwed together. The sheet is pulled downwards and attached to the C-shaped cross-strut. The innovative conversion has already been distinguished with five international design awards: "Design for Europe (2000)", "Architecture and Engineering ISH 2001", "if Design Award 2002", "Red Dot Award 2002" and "Good Design 2002", "Designpreis Bundesrepublik Deutschland 2004" nominated.
